Neo Garden, Singapore Swimming Association and The Straits Times School Pocket Money have come together to raise over $500,000 for needy students through the sales of Curry Bomb

Neo Garden support STTA with a sponsorship and donation package worth $100,000 that will go towards the STTA’s pathway development and high-performance sports system for our Team Singapore paddlers.

Thong Siek Group, in collaboration with SG Enable, is among the 144 employers who have signed the #PC2020 Enabling Employment Pledge, which advocates employers to empower persons with disabilities so that they can achieve their full potential.

Neo Group Foundation was set up with the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) in April 2020 to ensure greater transparency and accountability – a necessary step as both the Group and the fund grow in size. The Foundation will support programmes and beneficiaries outlined in our giving strategy in three broad categories:

Neo Seed is the driving force behind the Group’s giving initiatives. It is an employee-driven initiative where employees donate monthly and our Founder will match up to $5,000 a month. The fund collected will support donations and volunteer work for four beneficiary groups comprising of the Elderly, Children, Special Needs and the Community.

Yearly, our employees volunteer more than 2,000 hours together and have benefitted more than 1,500 beneficiaries. As our Group continues to grow, we want to make an even bigger impact on our community by spreading the seeds of giving further and wider.

In celebration of Neo Garden’s 30th anniversary, a donation of $300,000 was made towards enhancing the high-performance programs of the SBA. This significant contribution aims to support the development of local shuttlers and foster the growth of talented sports individuals within the community.

We hold blood donation drives in three locations across our different offices twice a year. Apart from employees, we also invite our customers and partners to join us in our effort to save lives. Up till today, we’ve donated close to 5,000 packets of blood. Given that each packet can help 3 people in need, that’s about 15,000 people altogether. It’s a small action that can literally change someone else’s lives. And we endeavour to do more for them.

umisushi started the campaign in 2019 – offering mineral water at $0.10 at all retail outlets. This idea was originally conceived by our Founder, Mr Neo himself. This was a move to encourage everyone to drink more water and choose mineral water as a healthier choice beverage.

Our success does not come at the expense of our planet. As the largest player in the market, we have a responsibility to do more while using less. It’s a challenge. But it’s one that we embrace so we can set precedence. And steer the industry towards a more circular direction. At Neo Group, we convened to rethink operational processes and develop effective sustainable strategies. Initiatives like “No Aircon Fridays” and “Go Digital” to reduce paper usage are already in motion at our headquarters, charting towards a sustainable future.

$20,000 donated, 700 Fortune Bags and dinner bento sets sponsored, and countless grateful smiles in return. Our volunteers went door to door to give out dinner bento sets and fortune bags to beneficiaries from Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society.

Neo Group officially adopted the 13th branch of Sian Chay Medical Institution – Chua Chu Kang branch, where $500,000 was committed to the building and renovation of this Choa Chu Kang branch, with a further $300,000 to fund the branch’s annual operating expenses and medicine costs. Our Founder, Chairman and CEO, Mr Neo, who is also the Honourable Chairman of Sian Chay, the Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Gan Kim Yong, and Volunteer Executive Chairman of Sian Chay, Dr Toh Soon Huat, was in attendance to officiate the opening ceremony.

A good year begins with doing good. Begin with Love is an initiative started on 1 Jan 2016 where all catering proceeds on the first day of the year are donated to charity. Through this initiative, we aim to reach out to our corporate and household customers to encourage them to do good together with us by celebrating the New Year with good food.
